Our take on the Savage Sadists / Den of Dominance / Daughters of Discipline

A three-film DVD collection of early-1980s adult features directed by Phil Prince: Savage Sadists, Den of Dominance and Daughters of Discipline, made between 1980 and 1983. The disc runs about 120 minutes combined, is region-free NTSC, and presents the films in 1.33:1 from 2K scans of 16mm archival elements. It is a niche archival release aimed at collectors of vintage adult cinema rather than a mainstream movie night pick.

Questions and answers

What films are on this DVD?
Three Phil Prince features: Savage Sadists, Den of Dominance and Daughters of Discipline, originally released between 1980 and 1983. Combined running time is about 120 minutes.
Will it play on my US DVD player?
Yes. The disc is Region 0 (region-free) and NTSC, so it plays on standard US players and most multi-region players. PAL-only players without NTSC support may not handle it.
Does it have subtitles or extras?
No subtitles are listed. The main selling point is the 2K restoration from 16mm archival elements; check the case for any bonus features before buying.
Is the picture quality good?
It is a 2K scan of rare 16mm elements, so expect a clear improvement over older transfers but with the grain and wear typical of surviving 16mm prints. It is DVD resolution, not HD.
Who is this collection for?
Collectors of early-1980s adult cinema and fans of Phil Prince. The cast includes Dave Ruby, David Christopher, Bibi, Nicole Bernard and Victoria Sands.
