Is the Scaife console table solid glass or glass on a frame?

It is a glass console table with a clear finish. Treat the top as glass: use coasters and avoid dragging objects across it.

Will it fit behind a standard sofa?

At 34 inches tall and 13.875 inches deep, it sits above most sofa backs and takes little floor space. Check your sofa's back height before buying.

It is 54.2 inches wide, so it needs a wall or open space of at least that length.

Can I use it as a bar cart?

Yes. The listing describes it as a console table, bar cart or display piece, so bottles and glassware can sit on the top.
