Is the NeeDoh Squishmas Advent Calendar worth it?

For families with kids 3 and up who like squishy toys, it delivers 24 small toys for about $20 at the current best price, which is roughly 80 cents a day. If your child already has a lot of NeeDoh, the Teenie sizes may feel repetitive.

How does it compare with a candy Advent calendar?

It swaps chocolate for a small sensory toy each day, so it lasts past December and avoids sugar. The trade-off is that the toys are tiny and can be lost, while candy is gone in a minute.

Schylling lists a minimum age of 3 because of the small pieces. The Teenie squishies are a choking hazard for younger toddlers, so keep it away from kids under 3 and from pets.

What is inside the box?

One calendar with 24 pop-open doors, each holding a single Teenie NeeDoh squishy toy. The last door lands on Christmas Eve.

Are the squishies full-size NeeDoh?

No. They are Teenie-size minis, smaller than the standard NeeDoh balls, which suits small hands but means less squish per toy.

Advent calendars tend to drop after December 1 as stores clear stock, but selection shrinks fast. The current best new price is $19.80 at eBay as of November 4, 2026.
