Is the SEDETA gaming desk worth it?

If you want storage, a hutch and built-in power in one 55-inch desk, it is a solid pick. If you plan a triple-monitor or very tall monitor setup, the hutch and width will hold you back.

Does it really have a power outlet and USB ports?

Yes. The desk includes a built-in power outlet and USB ports, so you can plug in a monitor, PC or phone without a separate strip.

How big a monitor fits under the hutch?

The hutch shelf sits above the main desktop, so check the clearance before buying if you use a tall monitor or a monitor arm. Standard 24- to 27-inch monitors on their own stands generally fit.

What are the drawers like?

There are three drawers, and one is a filing cabinet sized for hanging files. The others suit controllers, cables and office supplies.

How long does assembly take?

Expect a couple of hours. The drawers and hutch add steps beyond a plain desk, so having a second person helps.

When is the price lowest?

Furniture like this tends to dip during major sale events and back-to-school season. Check the price history before buying.

Our take on the SEDETA 55.1 Inch Gaming Desk with Hutch and 3 Drawers

The SEDETA 55.1-inch gaming desk pairs a wood-grain top with a black steel frame, an overhead hutch shelf, and three drawers, including a filing cabinet. It adds a built-in power outlet and USB ports, so a monitor, PC and phone can run off the desk itself. At 55.1 inches wide it fits a dual-monitor setup with room left for speakers. It is a mid-size, storage-heavy desk rather than a full battle-station surface.
