Is the Sedona LX Elite worth it over a plain memory foam mattress?

If you sleep hot or dislike sinking into foam, yes. The latex layer, two microcoil layers and copper-infused cover are the features you are paying for over a basic foam bed.

How firm is the Firm option?

The Firm uses 36 ILD Talalay latex, which is on the firmer end for latex. Back and stomach sleepers usually like it; lighter side sleepers often prefer Soft or Medium.

Do I need special sheets?

The mattress is 13 to 15 inches thick, so standard sheets may not fit. Look for deep-pocket sheets rated for 15-inch mattresses.

What sizes does it come in?

Queen, King, Full, Twin, Twin XL and California King.

How long is the trial?

Up to 365 nights, one of the longest trial windows in the mattress market.

Latex hybrids rarely get deep discounts. Watch for holiday sales and bundle offers, and check the price history before buying.

Our take on the Sedona LX Elite

The Sedona LX Elite is a 13- to 15-inch latex hybrid mattress built on an 8-inch foam-encased zoned coil core with two layers of microcoils and 2 inches of natural Talalay latex on top. It adds two cooling systems: a copper-infused GlacioTex cover and a 0.75-inch ThermoPhase phase-change foam layer. It comes in Soft, Medium and Firm, in six sizes, and carries GREENGUARD certification. The 365-night trial is among the longest offered on any mattress.
