Our take on the Seesii Cordless Reciprocating Saw with 2 x 2.0Ah Batteries

The Seesii Cordless Reciprocating Saw is an 18V brushless saw that ships with two 2.0Ah batteries. It runs at up to 3,500 strokes per minute with variable speed, so you can start slow in metal or plastic and open up in wood. It weighs about 7.9 lb, which is on the heavy side for a cordless recip saw. No price was given for this listing, so check the current price against its recent range before buying.

Pros
  • Two 2.0Ah batteries included, so one can charge while the other works
  • Brushless motor rated 600W, more efficient than a brushed motor
  • Variable speed up to 3,500 rpm for controlled starts
  • Tool-free blade change is typical on this class of saw
  • 18V platform is common, so batteries may be shared with other tools
Cons
  • 2.0Ah batteries are small; expect short runtime under heavy load
  • About 7.9 lb with battery, heavier than premium brushless saws
  • No NRTL safety listing shown, which matters for insurance and jobsite rules
  • Single speed range only; no orbital action setting
  • No price or store given, so value can't be judged yet

Questions and answers

Is the Seesii reciprocating saw worth it?
It depends on price. Two batteries and a brushless motor are good for the money at a budget price, but the small 2.0Ah cells and lack of a safety listing hold it back for daily pro use. Compare the current price with its recent range before deciding.
How long do the 2.0Ah batteries last?
Expect roughly 20 to 40 minutes of mixed cutting per battery, less in thick hardwood or metal. Two batteries help, but for long demolition sessions buy larger 4.0Ah or 5.0Ah packs if they fit the same 18V platform.
What blades does it take?
It uses standard reciprocating saw blades with a 1/2-inch shank, the same type sold for DeWalt, Milwaukee and Ryobi saws. Match the blade to the material: wood blades for lumber, bi-metal for nails and pipe.
Can it cut metal and pipe?
Yes, with a bi-metal blade and low speed. The variable-speed trigger lets you start slow to avoid grabbing. It is not a substitute for a dedicated metal-cutting saw on thick steel.
What comes in the box?
The saw, two 2.0Ah 18V batteries and a charger. Blades are usually not included, so budget for a starter pack.
When is it cheapest?
Cordless tool prices on this site tend to dip during holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. Set a price alert and buy when it falls below its recent average rather than at list price.
