Is the Segway E3 Pro worth $599.99?

At $599.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a fair price for an 800 W, 34-mile scooter with suspension and a safety listing. With only one store listing it new, you won't find much of a discount elsewhere right now.

How fast does it go and how far on a charge?

It tops out at 20 mph and Segway claims up to 34 miles per charge. Expect less range at full speed, on hills or with a heavier rider.

How long does it take to charge?

About 5 hours from empty. There is no fast-charge option listed.

Can I carry it on a bus or up stairs?

It folds, but at 40.1 lb it is awkward for daily stairs or crowded transit. It suits short carries and car trunks better.

The scooter, charger and assembly hardware for the handlebars are standard. Check the listing for any included accessories before ordering.

Is it good for beginners?

Yes. The wide deck, 10-inch tires and dual suspension make it stable, and 20 mph is manageable once you practice. Wear a helmet and start in a lower speed mode.
