Is the Seura Full Sun Series a smart TV?

No. It has no built-in apps or smart platform. You connect a Roku, Chromecast or Fire TV device through HDMI, and the weatherproof media compartment is made to hold it.

Can it stay outside all year?

Yes. It carries an IP55 waterproof rating and is designed for permanent outdoor use, including direct sun. Mount it with a standard VESA bracket.

What is the refresh rate?

60 Hz. That is fine for movies and sports but not ideal for fast-paced gaming.

Is $7,999.96 a good price?

Only one store lists it new at that price as of November 7, 2026, so there is no cheaper new listing to compare against. Given the 1 out of 5 owner rating, consider whether the price is worth the risk.

What comes in the box?

The TV itself with its weatherproof media compartment and VESA-compatible mounting. A streaming device and mount are not included, so budget for both.

How does it compare with a covered patio TV?

A standard indoor TV costs far less but is not sealed against weather. This set is built for exposed outdoor walls, which is most of what the price buys.

Where is the Seura Full Sun Series Outdoor TV cheapest?

At PC Richard & Son, for $7,999.96, as of our latest check.

Our take on the Seura Full Sun Series Outdoor TV

The Seura Full Sun Series is a 55-inch 4K LED outdoor television built to stay outside year-round. It carries an IP55 weatherproof rating, a sealed media compartment, HDR support and three HDMI ports, and it has no built-in smart platform, so streaming comes from a Roku, Chromecast or Fire TV device you add yourself. Its best new price is $7,999.96 at PC Richard & Son as of November 7, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition to shop around. At that figure it is a premium outdoor display, not a value pick.
