Our take on the Sevorley Toddler Foot-to-Floor Ride-On Excavator

The Sevorley Toddler Foot-to-Floor Ride-On Excavator is a sit-on construction toy for ages 2-3, with a working front loader bucket, a steering wheel with horn and storage under the seat. Kids push it along with their feet and scoop with the bucket, so it mixes riding with sandbox-style play. It measures about 27.5 by 10.25 by 14.5 inches. The best new price is $115.26 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper alternative to compare against.

Best forToddlers ages 2-3 who like diggers and trucksParents wanting a ride-on that also scoops sand or toysSmall yards, patios and playroomsGift buyers for a second or third birthday
Pros
  • Working loader bucket adds scooping play beyond riding
  • Under-seat storage holds small toys or snacks
  • Steering wheel with horn gives toddlers a sense of control
  • Foot-to-floor design needs no pedals or battery
  • Compact size suits indoor and patio use
Cons
  • Only rated for ages 2-3, so it is outgrown quickly
  • No pedals or motor, so it depends on the child pushing
  • Single store listing means little price competition
  • Bucket play works best on sand or loose material, not grass

Questions and answers

Is the Sevorley ride-on excavator worth it?
It is a reasonable buy if your child is 2-3 and loves diggers, since the bucket and storage add play value beyond a plain ride-on. At $115.26 at Macy's as of November 4, 2026, it is priced like a specialty toy rather than a basic plastic trike.
What age is it for?
Sevorley rates it for ages 2-3. Most children outgrow the seat and leg room after that, so it suits a toddler rather than a preschooler.
Does it need batteries?
No. It is foot-to-floor, so the child pushes it along. The horn on the steering wheel is a manual toy horn, not an electronic one.
How big is it?
About 27.5 inches long, 10.25 inches wide and 14.5 inches tall. Check that against your hallway or patio space, since it is longer than a small trike.
Where does the bucket work best?
On sand, dirt or loose toys. On grass or carpet the bucket will not scoop much, so treat it as a sandbox and patio toy.
When is it cheapest?
Only one store lists it new, so there is no competing price to wait for. Watch for Macy's sitewide toy sales and clearance events, which are the usual times this kind of item drops.
Where is the Sevorley Toddler Foot-to-Floor Ride-On Excavator cheapest?
At Macy's, for $115.26, 66% off, as of our latest check.
