Our take on the Shaker Cinder 36" Vanity Sink Base Double Door Double Drawer Front

A 36-inch shaker-style sink base vanity cabinet with two doors and two false drawer fronts, finished in Cinder. It is framed, with a 3/4-inch birch face frame, veneered MDF doors and soft-close hinges. The drawer box is 5/8-inch solid hardwood with dovetail joints, though the fronts on a sink base are typically fixed panels that hide the plumbing. At $409 at CabinetSelect.com as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Shaker Cinder 36-inch sink base worth $409?
That is a mid-range price for a framed 36-inch sink base with a birch face frame and dovetail drawer box. With only one store listing it at $409 as of November 4, 2026, compare against other Cinder shaker bases before committing.
Are the drawers real on this sink base?
Sink bases usually have false drawer fronts to leave room for plumbing. The spec lists a dovetail hardwood drawer box, so confirm with the store whether the drawers are functional or decorative.
What size sink fits a 36-inch sink base?
A 36-inch sink base typically takes a sink up to about 33 inches wide, leaving room for the cabinet sides. Measure your sink and check the interior width before ordering.
Do the doors have soft close?
Yes, soft-close hinges are listed. The doors are veneered MDF over a framed 3/4-inch birch face frame.
What is included with the cabinet?
The listing is for the cabinet only. Sink, faucet, countertop and handles are not included unless the store states otherwise.
When is the best time to buy?
Cabinet prices often drop during remodeling-season sales in spring and around major holidays. With one listing at $409 as of November 4, 2026, watch for a second store to appear and undercut it.
Where is the Shaker Cinder 36" Vanity Sink Base Double Door Double Drawer Front cheapest?
At CabinetSelect.com, for $409.00, as of our latest check.
