Our take on the Shardor Conical Burr Coffee Grinder

The Shardor Conical Burr Coffee Grinder is an electric burr grinder with a 12.5 oz bean hopper and adjustable grind settings. Conical burrs give a more even grind than blade grinders, which matters most for drip and pour-over. At $79.99 at shardorlife.com as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end for a burr grinder, and three stores carry it new.

Pros
  • Conical burr set grinds more evenly than blade grinders
  • Adjustable grind settings cover drip through fine grinds
  • 12.5 oz hopper holds enough for several pots
  • Electric operation is faster than hand grinding
  • Low entry price for a burr grinder
Cons
  • Little independent testing or long-term reliability data
  • Few reviews so far, so real-world feedback is thin
  • Burr quality and grind consistency at this price are unproven
  • Likely louder and less precise than grinders costing twice as much

Questions and answers

Is this grinder worth it over a blade grinder?
For drip or pour-over, yes. Conical burrs produce a more even particle size than blades, which gives more consistent extraction. If you only make coarse French press, the gap is smaller.
Does it work for espresso?
It has adjustable grind settings, but budget conical grinders usually lack the fine-step control espresso needs. Expect it to suit drip and pour-over better than dialing in espresso.
How much coffee does the 12.5 oz hopper hold?
About 12.5 oz of beans, roughly enough for 15 to 20 cups depending on dose. Beans keep better stored airtight, so grind what you need rather than filling it weekly.
What is the cheapest price for it?
$79.99 at shardorlife.com as of November 4, 2026, with three stores listing it new. Compare those listings before buying.
What comes in the box?
Expect the grinder and a basic manual. Check the listing for included accessories such as a scoop or brush before ordering.
