Is the Shark Rocket Pro Deluxe cordless?

No. It is a corded stick vacuum that plugs into a standard AC outlet, so there is no battery to charge or replace.

Does it work on hardwood floors?

Yes. Shark lists it for carpet, rugs and hardwood, and the stick format lets you clean both without changing the whole machine.

About 10 pounds, which is light for a stick vacuum and manageable on stairs.

It is the best new price found as of November 8, 2026, but it sits near the top of the vacuum's recent range, so waiting for a sale could save money.

It lights the floor ahead of the nozzle, which helps show dust and debris in dim corners and under furniture.

Homes with a mix of carpet and hard floors that want corded suction without battery upkeep, especially for quick daily cleanups.
