Questions and answers

Is the Shark Vertex worth it over a cheaper cordless stick?
It is worth it if HEPA filtration and pet hair pickup matter to you. If you mainly clean bare floors and want the lowest price, a simpler stick will do the job.
How long does the battery last?
Runtime depends on the power mode, with the highest suction draining the battery fastest. Expect to recharge between full-home passes and to use the lower setting for longer runs.
Does it work on carpet and hard floors?
Yes. It handles hard floors and low-pile carpet well, and the handheld mode covers stairs and upholstery. Very deep pile carpet is better served by a plug-in upright.
Is it good for pet hair?
Yes. It is designed for pet households, and the HEPA filter helps keep dander and fine dust sealed in. Empty the bin often when picking up long hair.
What comes in the box?
The vacuum ships with its battery, charger and the standard cleaning tools for floors and above-floor use. Check the listing for any extra attachments included.
When is the best time to buy it?
Cordless vacuums see the deepest discounts around major sales events and holiday weekends. Compare the current price with its recent range before buying.
