Is the Shark Vertex Ultra Lightweight worth it?

It is a good pick if light weight and HEPA filtration matter more than long run time. For big homes or deep carpet, a full-size upright or a stick with a swappable battery is a better fit.

How long does the battery last?

Expect roughly 20 to 30 minutes on low power and closer to 10 minutes on max. Run time drops as the filter loads, so clean it regularly.

Does it work on carpet?

Yes, it picks up surface debris and pet hair on low-pile carpet. For deep pile or whole-house carpet, use a full-size vacuum.

What comes in the box?

The vacuum, battery, charger and a set of tools that usually includes a crevice tool and a pet or upholstery brush. Check the listing for the exact tool set.

Can I replace the battery?

Most Vertex sticks use a built-in battery that is not user-swappable. Confirm the model before buying if you want a spare battery.

Shark sticks drop most during Black Friday, back-to-school sales and end-of-model clearances. Watch the price history and buy below the recent average.

Our take on the Shark Vertex Ultra Lightweight Cordless Stick Vacuum

The Shark Vertex Ultra Lightweight is a cordless stick vacuum with a HEPA filter, pet tools and a convertible design that folds into a handheld for stairs and cars. At 9 lb it is light enough to carry through a whole house, and the HEPA filter helps with dust and pet dander. It is a mid-range Shark stick, so expect strong suction and a shorter run time than premium rivals. No current price was given for this page, so compare the live price across stores before buying.
