Is the Sharper Image neck wrap worth it?

It suits shoppers who want cordless neck heat and value the fleece comfort. If you need strong, sustained heat, a plug-in pad or a heated collar with a timer may serve you better.

How long does the battery last?

Sharper Image rates it at up to 5 hours on the lowest setting. Expect noticeably less on the higher settings, so charge it before long sessions.

It is one size fits most, for neck sizes up to 24 inches. It is a wrap-around design with stretchable fleece, but larger necks may find it snug.

Can I use it plugged in?

Yes. It runs on the included rechargeable battery or from an AC outlet with the included charger, so you can use it corded when the battery runs down.

What comes in the box?

The wrap, a rechargeable battery and a charger. No carry case or extra cover is listed.

Small heated wraps like this tend to drop around Black Friday, holiday gift sales and end-of-season clearance. Check the price history before buying outside those windows.

Our take on the Sharper Image Cordless Neck Heat Therapy Wrap

The Sharper Image Cordless Neck Heat Therapy Wrap is a battery-powered fleece neck wrap that uses far-infrared heat across four temperature settings. It runs cordless for up to 5 hours on the lowest setting, or from an AC outlet, and fits neck sizes up to 24 inches. It weighs 1.5 lbs and comes with a charger and rechargeable battery. It is a niche comfort product rather than a medical device, and its 3.6 out of 5 rating from 33 ratings suggests mixed satisfaction.
