Is the Shaw Endura 512C Plus worth it?

For a budget floating plank in wet rooms, yes. The 12 mil wear layer and attached pad are solid for the price. If you want a thicker, quieter floor, step up to an 8 mm SPC plank.

Can it go in a bathroom?

Shaw rates it water-resistant and lists bathroom use. Wipe up standing water and seal the perimeter, since it is not a waterproof tile replacement.

How many cartons do I need?

Each carton covers 18.67 sq ft. A 200 sq ft order is about 11 cartons; add 10 percent for cuts and waste.

Does it need underlayment?

No. The pad is attached, so it floats directly over a flat, clean subfloor. Check flatness within 3/16 inch over 10 feet before laying.

How does it compare with glue-down vinyl?

Click floating is faster and easier to remove. Glue-down feels firmer underfoot and handles heavy rolling loads better, but takes more prep and adhesive.
