Is the Shot Bandit Gen 4 worth it over a cheaper stapled board?

Yes, if you play steel-tip darts regularly. The staple-free blade wires and denser sisal cut bounce-outs and last longer than budget stapled boards.

How is the Gen 4 different from earlier Bandit boards?

The Gen 4 uses 0.8mm blade wires rated 59% stronger than traditional bladed wires and adds a rotatable nylon puck bracket. The playing area per segment is about 14% larger.

Do I need to rotate the board?

Yes. Spin it on the puck bracket every few sessions so the 20 and other high-traffic segments wear evenly. You do not have to take it off the wall.

The board, a composite puck bracket, a measuring tape for setting the correct height and an instruction handbook with checkout charts. Darts and a surround are not included.

What size is the board?

It is a standard 18-inch board with a 1.5-inch depth, so it fits common surrounds and cabinets.

When is the best time to buy?

Watch for sales around holidays and darts season. At $139.95 CAD it sits in the mid range for a staple-free sisal board.
