Is the middle seat a recliner?

No. Only the two outer seats recline. The middle seat stays fixed, and its backrest folds down into a table with two cup holders and a USB port.

How much room does it need behind it?

The sofa is 40 inches deep. Power recliners need a few inches of clearance behind the back to fully recline, so leave space between it and the wall.

Does it need to be plugged in?

Yes. The power recline and USB charging run off the included UL-listed power cord, so you need an outlet within reach of the sofa.

Is assembly required?

No. It arrives ready to use, though the 233-pound size means you should plan delivery and placement in advance.

Is $789.97 a good price?

It is the only new price we have on record as of November 3, 2026, at Namaste Furniture, with two stores listing it new. Without a longer price history, we cannot say whether it is a low point.

What is the upholstery?

It is 100% polyester velvet in a steel gray color with a waffle weave. It is soft but not leather, so expect fabric care rather than wiping down.
