Will it hold an 80-inch TV?

Yes. Simpli Home rates the top for screens up to 80 inches, and the 72-inch width gives the TV a stable base.

Is it solid wood or particleboard?

It is built from solid wood with a rustic natural aged brown finish, not a veneer over particleboard.

It stands 26 inches tall, which puts most 65 to 80 inch screens at a comfortable seated viewing height.

Does it need assembly?

Yes. It ships flat and must be assembled, so plan for an hour or more and a second person to help lift it.

Is there room for a soundbar?

The 72-inch top leaves space on either side of a large TV for a soundbar or decor, though a very wide soundbar may need to sit in front of the screen.
