Is the NSX 3009 worth it over a larger NSX?
The 3009 gives the same NSX interface and CHIRP sonar in a 9-inch screen. Step up to a 12-inch model only if you need split-screen charts and sonar at arm's length.
Does it come with a transducer?
Yes. This bundle includes the Active Imaging transducer, so you get CHIRP and high-frequency imaging without buying a separate 'ducer.
Can I connect radar and a second display?
There is one Ethernet port, so radar and a second MFD share it through a network switch. Plan the switch into the install.
Will it talk to my older NMEA 0183 radio?
Not directly. The unit has NMEA 2000 only, so you need an 0183-to-2000 converter for legacy gear.
What's in the box?
The NSX 3009 display, Active Imaging transducer, bracket mount and power cable. Check for a chart card, since base charts vary by region.
