- How much ice can it make in a day?
- It is rated at up to 26 lb per day. Real output depends on room temperature, water temperature and how often you empty the basket.
- How big is it?
- About 8.1 x 11 x 11.6 inches, so it fits on most counters under standard cabinets. Check clearance above the lid before you buy.
- What kind of ice does it make?
- Bullet ice, the small cylindrical pieces that work well in sodas, cocktails and iced coffee. It melts faster than freezer cubes.
- Is it safe and certified?
- The specs list no NRTL listing, meaning no UL, ETL or comparable third-party electrical safety certification. Plug it into a grounded outlet and keep water away from the controls.
- Is $64.99 a good price?
- It is the only new price we have, $64.99 at Walmart as of November 8, 2026, and one store sells it new. With no competing listings, there is little chance of a lower price elsewhere.
- Do I need to plumb it in?
- No. It is a portable countertop unit with a 1.1 L reservoir you fill by hand, and you empty the melt water from the drain.
