Questions and answers

Is this set worth it compared to clamp-lid glass jars?
Yes if you want a low-cost, clear glass set for light pantry use. Pricier clamp-lid brands tend to have thicker glass and replaceable seals, which matters if you open the jars daily.
How much does each jar hold?
The set lists 78 oz total across three jars, so each holds roughly 26 oz, about 3 1/4 cups. That suits coffee, sugar, or spices but not a full 5 lb bag of flour in one jar.
Are the jars and lids dishwasher safe?
The glass is listed as dishwasher safe. Hand washing the lids and silicone seals is safer, since heat and detergent can shorten seal life.
Are the jars really airtight?
They are sold as airtight with latching lids and a gasket. Most owners report a good seal, but check that the gasket sits flat before closing.
Is the glass BPA-free and food safe?
Yes, the set is listed as BPA-free and made of glass, so there is no plastic in contact with food beyond the lid seal.
When is the price likely to be lowest?
Glass jar sets usually dip during kitchen and home organization sales and around the winter holidays. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
What do buyers say about the Sindcom 3 PCS Airtight Glass Jars with Lids?
Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 54 ratings.
