Buyers who want a vintage medallion look without a wool rug budget
Entryways and dining areas that need a non-slip backing
Pros
  • Large 8'x10' size fits a full sofa-and-chairs layout
  • TPR rubber backing resists sliding on hard floors
  • Low pile is easy to vacuum and less of a trip hazard
  • Machine-woven polyester holds up to daily traffic
  • Listed as washable for spills and pet accidents
  • Vintage medallion pattern hides small stains and wear
Cons
  • Low polyester pile feels thin underfoot, not plush

  • Rubber backing can trap moisture and odor if the rug stays damp
  • No price history or current price is shown, so value is hard to judge
  • Pattern and colors may vary from photos

Questions and answers

Is this rug actually machine washable?
The listing says washable, but an 8'x10' rug will not fit most home washers. Plan on a large-capacity commercial machine or spot cleaning, and dry it fully so the rubber backing does not stay damp.
Will it slide on hardwood or tile?
The TPR rubber backing is designed to grip hard floors and reduce sliding. On very smooth or freshly polished floors, a thin pad adds extra hold.
Is the pile thick enough for a living room?
It is a low-pile rug, so it feels flat rather than plush. That makes it easy to vacuum and good under furniture, but add a pad if you want more cushion.
Does it work in a dining room under a table?
Yes. The low pile lets chairs slide and the 8'x10' size fits most dining sets. Wipe spills quickly, since polyester can stain if liquid sits.
Is it good for homes with pets?
The low pile and washable claim make it a reasonable pick for pet owners. Vacuum often, and clean accidents promptly so moisture does not get into the rubber backing.
When is the best time to buy it?
Rug prices often drop during seasonal sales and holiday weekends. Check the price history on this page and buy when the current price sits near the low end of its range.
