Is the GO WALK 8 - Day worth it at $69.60?

At $69.60 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, it sits in the usual range for a cushioned Skechers walking shoe. You get the no-tie fit, Goga Mat insole and machine washability, which are the main reasons to pick it.

How does it compare with the GO WALK 7?

The 8 uses the next-gen Ultra Pillars and ULTRA GO foam, so expect a slightly more supported, cushioned ride than the previous generation. The no-tie lacing and washable knit carry over.

Can I wash it in a machine?

Yes, Skechers lists it as machine washable. Use cold water on a gentle cycle and air dry; skip the dryer to protect the foam and knit.

Do the laces really stay tied?

The No Tie Fit laces are fixed stretch laces, so there is nothing to tie and they do not come undone. The trade-off is you cannot loosen or tighten them much.

What widths does it come in?

It is listed in medium width only. If you need wide or narrow, look at other GO WALK models.

Only one new price is listed, $69.60 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026. Watch for seasonal sales and color clearances, when Skechers walking shoes typically drop.
