Questions and answers

Is the Skechers Retro Lite true to size?
Skechers women's shoes generally run true to size, and this one is listed in normal width. If you are between sizes or have a wide foot, size up, since there is no wide option.
Is $44.99 a good price for it?
At $44.99 at Skechers.com as of November 8, 2026, it sits in the usual range for a basic Skechers casual sneaker. Three stores list it new, so compare before buying.
Does it come in a slip-on version?
Yes. The Retro Lite is sold in both laced and slip-on versions. Check the listing's fastening field, because the two are different shoes.
Can I wear it for running or the gym?
No. The EVA outsole and foam insole are built for casual walking, not for running or gym training. For workouts, pick a shoe with a rubber outsole and more support.
What is the upper made of?
The upper mixes mesh and leather, with a textile lining. That combination gives breathability through the mesh and some structure from the leather panels.
How do I clean the mesh upper?
Wipe the leather panels with a damp cloth and brush the mesh gently with a soft brush and mild soap. Air dry them away from direct heat.
