Is this saw worth it over a cheaper benchtop model?

Yes if you need a stand and a reliable fence. The rack-and-pinion fence and folding stand are the main reasons to pay more than a bare benchtop saw.

Can it cut a 4x4 in one pass?

Yes at 90 degrees, per the listed 4x4 capacity. Bevel cuts reduce the depth, so check the 2.5-inch maximum before angled cuts.

Does it come with a blade?

It ships with a blade, but owners often swap it for a finer-tooth blade for finish work. Confirm the included blade in the listing before buying.

How does it compare with a cordless jobsite saw?

This one is corded at 15 amps, so it has more power than most battery saws but needs an outlet or generator. Cordless saws trade power for portability.
