- Is the battery and charger included?
- Yes. This is a kit with a 20V PWR CORE battery and charger in the box, plus one reciprocating blade.
- What is the difference between linear and orbital mode?
- Linear mode moves the blade straight for cleaner cuts in metal and finished wood. Orbital mode adds a rocking motion for faster rough cuts in lumber and demolition.
- Can it cut metal?
- Yes, with the right blade. It handles thin metal and conduit well; thick metal cuts are slower on a single 20V battery.
- Does it use the same batteries as other Skil 20V tools?
- Yes. It runs on Skil PWR CORE 20V batteries, which are shared across the Skil 20V line.
- Is $116.10 a good price?
- It is at the low end of its recent range and well below typical kit pricing, so it is a good buy at that price at Walmart as of November 7, 2026.
- How much does it weigh?
- 6.28 lb with the battery, which is on the heavy side for a cordless reciprocating saw.
