Our take on the Skin Authority Facial Club After Glow Kit

The Skin Authority Facial Club After Glow Kit is a multi-step at-home facial set built around a mask and serum routine. It targets discoloration, UV damage and fine lines with aloe vera, probiotics, vitamin E and other botanicals. The kit covers face, neck and décolleté, with the Calming Mask left on about 10 minutes and the 7-Minute Makeover Mask about 5. It is a treatment add-on rather than a full skincare regimen, so check whether you already own a cleanser and moisturizer before buying.

Best forShoppers who want a quick at-home facial before an eventPeople concerned with discoloration and UV-related dullnessAnyone building a neck and décolleté routineGift buyers looking for a ready-made skincare set
Pros
  • Short treatment times: about 5 and 10 minutes per mask
  • Covers face, neck and décolleté, not just the face
  • Probiotics, aloe vera and vitamin E in the formula
  • Kit format bundles mask and serum steps together
  • Targets discoloration and fine lines in one routine
Cons
  • The 7-Minute Makeover Mask is scented and fragranced
  • Calming Mask is not eye safe, so keep it off the eye area
  • Masks need rinsing, so it is not a no-rinse routine
  • No overnight use, so results depend on regular sessions
  • Not a complete regimen; cleanser and moisturizer are separate

Questions and answers

Is the After Glow Kit worth it?
It suits shoppers who want a short, structured facial at home and are already treating discoloration or fine lines. If you only need one mask, buying the individual product may cost less than the kit.
How long does each mask take?
The Calming Mask stays on about 10 minutes and the 7-Minute Makeover Mask about 5 minutes. Both are rinse-off, so plan for cleansing afterward.
Can I use it around my eyes?
No. The Calming Mask is not eye safe, so apply it below the eye area and keep it off the lids and lash line.
What skin types is it for?
It is aimed at dull, UV-stressed skin with discoloration and early fine lines. The scented mask may irritate very sensitive skin, so patch test first.
What is in the box?
The kit pairs a mask with a serum step for face, neck and décolleté. Check the listing for exact sizes, since kit contents can vary by set.
When is it cheapest?
Skincare kits usually drop during seasonal sales and brand promotions. Compare the kit price against buying the mask and serum separately before you buy.
