Is the Skullcandy Dime Evo worth it at $30?

At $30.00 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-risk buy for basic wireless listening. You get 36-hour total battery, a clip-on case and app EQ, but no active noise cancellation.

How long does the battery last?

Skullcandy rates 8 hours in the earbuds and 28 more in the case, for 36 hours total. A 10-minute charge gives about 2 hours of playback.

Does it have noise cancellation?

No. It uses a noise-isolating in-ear fit only, so it muffles some sound but does not cancel it actively.

Is it good for running and the gym?

IPX4 means it handles sweat and light rain, and the clip-on case is easy to carry. It is not rated for swimming or heavy water exposure.

Does it work with the Skullcandy App?

Yes. The app offers preset and custom EQ modes and lets you remap the on-earbud button functions.

You get the earbuds, the clip-anywhere charging case and a USB-C charging cable. Ear gels come in multiple sizes.
