Is this mattress good for side sleepers?

It is firm with only a thin foam layer, so side sleepers may feel pressure at the shoulder and hip. Back and stomach sleepers are the better fit.

How firm is the Sleepy's Basic Innerspring?

It is rated firm. The Bonell coils carry most of the support and the foam layer adds only light cushioning.

Does it need a box spring?

It works on a box spring, a slatted frame or a platform bed. A solid, supportive base helps the coils last.

Will I feel my partner move?

Yes. Bonell coils are linked, so motion travels across the bed more than with pocketed coils or foam.

What size and thickness is it?

This listing is a queen, 8.25 inches thick, in blue and white.

Is $249.99 a good price?

It is the only new price listed, $249.99 at Mattress Firm as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Compare it with other firm queen innerspring beds before buying.
