The SnapSafe Lock Box is a compact steel handgun case for one pistol, sized to slip under a seat, into a bag or a nightstand drawer. It uses a key lock with two keyed-alike keys, a foam interior and a 1,500 lb rated steel cable so it can be tethered in a vehicle or hotel room. It is pry resistant and California DOJ approved, but it has no fire or water protection. At $23.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, with 7 stores selling it new.
