The SoHo Urban Artist is a lightweight aluminum studio easel with a black powder-coated finish, a bottom canvas tray, and a swing-out brush and palette holder plus a rag hook. It adjusts in height and folds down to about 3.5 inches deep at 7.5 lb, so it moves between studio and outdoor work easily. Rubber-tipped legs add grip on hard floors and uneven ground. It is a budget-priced aluminum easel rather than a heavy wooden studio stand, so expect it to suit small to medium canvases more than large ones.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 from 79 ratings, owners generally find it a solid value for a light, portable studio easel. Complaints tend to center on assembly and on flex with bigger canvases.
