Our take on the Solar Ground Lights 8 LEDs Garden Disk Lights

These are flat, disk-shaped solar path lights that stake into lawns and beds and switch on automatically at dusk. Each unit has 8 integrated LEDs at 2W, an IP65 waterproof rating, and a choice of warm white or white light. They are sold as a multipack, so a set covers a walkway or garden edge. The best new price is $15.99 at LightInTheBox as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists them new, so there is no meaningful price history to compare against.

Cons
  • 2W per light is dim; not for security or task lighting
  • Output depends on sun; weak on cloudy days and in winter
  • Built-in batteries are not user-replaceable on most models
  • Plastic build and stakes can crack or loosen over seasons
  • Only one store lists it, so price comparison is limited

Questions and answers

Are these bright enough to light a walkway?
They give a soft accent glow, not full path illumination. At 2W per unit with 8 small LEDs, expect them to mark edges rather than light the way for walking.
How long do they stay on at night?
Run time depends on how much sun the panel gets. On a full sunny charge most units in this class run 6 to 8 hours; expect less after cloudy days.
Are they really waterproof?
They carry an IP65 rating, which means protection against rain and splashes. They are fine poolside and in garden beds, but do not submerge them.
What comes in the box?
A multipack of disk lights with attached ground stakes and built-in solar panels and LEDs. No wiring, hub or app is needed.
Is $15.99 a good price?
It is a low entry price for a solar disk light multipack. Only one store lists them new as of November 4, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against; compare per-light cost with other sets.
Do they work in winter or shade?
They need direct sun to charge. In heavy shade or short winter days, output and run time drop sharply.
Where is the Solar Ground Lights 8 LEDs Garden Disk Lights cheapest?
At LightInTheBox, for $15.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Solar Ground Lights 8 LEDs Garden Disk Lights?
Rated 5 out of 5 from 29 ratings.
