Is the Maples Estate Border Rug worth it?

At 4.6 out of 5 from about 3,500 ratings, it is a solid pick for a hallway or entry runner. The non-skid backing and washable build are the main reasons to choose it over a plain runner.

Does it need a rug pad?

No. The latex backing is non-skid, so it grips hardwood and tile on its own. Skip the pad unless you want extra cushion.

Can it go in a washing machine?

It is listed as washable, but a 10-foot runner is large for most home machines. Check your washer's drum capacity first, and expect the latex backing to stiffen with repeated washing.

Will the loop border snag?

The cut pile is low-snag, but the loop border can catch on pet claws, vacuum beater bars and chair legs. Vacuum with the beater bar off.

What sizes does it come in?

Listings show a 30-inch by 10-foot runner and a 6-foot runner. Check the listing for the exact size before ordering.
