Is the Sony XR8B worth it over a cheaper OLED?

It brings Sony's processing, Google TV and four HDMI ports to a 77-inch OLED. At $1,749.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it is competitive for the size, but only one store lists it new.

Is 77 inches too big for a normal living room?

A 77-inch set suits viewing distances of roughly 8 to 10 feet. In smaller rooms it will dominate the wall.

Does it support 120 Hz gaming?

Yes. The panel runs at 120 Hz and there are four HDMI inputs, so a console and a soundbar can share the ports.

The TV and a remote control are included. A wall mount and cables are not listed, so plan for those separately.

Does it work with Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit?

Yes. Google TV supports Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit is listed as supported.

Only one store lists it new, so discounts are likely around major sales events. Track the price history before buying.
