Questions and answers

Is the Sorbus hammock chair safe to hang?: Its 1.6 out of 5 rating and reports of fraying rope make it a risky pick. Check every rope and seam before each use, and hang it no higher than you are willing to fall.
What is included in the box?: The chair and a cushion are listed. Mounting hardware is not reliably included, so plan to buy a rated hanging kit or strap separately.
How wide is it and how much weight does it hold?: It is about 50 inches wide and rated for 320 lb. Treat that figure as a ceiling, not a target, given the complaints about the rope.
When is it cheapest?: The best new price is $33.08 at Sorbus Home as of November 6, 2026. Three stores list it, so compare before buying.
Is it worth it over a name-brand hammock chair?: Only if you want the lowest price and will inspect it often. A sturdier chair from a known brand costs more but avoids the rope and stitching failures buyers report here.
Where is the Sorbus Hanging Rope Hammock Chair Swing Seat cheapest?: At Sorbus Home, for $33.08, 28% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Sorbus Hanging Rope Hammock Chair Swing Seat?: Rated 1.6 out of 5 from 101 ratings.
Where can I buy the Sorbus Hanging Rope Hammock Chair Swing Seat?: 4 stores we checked sell it, including Sorbus Home, ModeSens, Walmart, eBay.
