How long does the Soul & Scents Ocean diffuser last?

The listing states 35 to 60 days. Real life depends on room temperature, airflow and how many reeds you use; fewer reeds slow the burn.

How much space will it scent?

About 10 square meters, roughly a bathroom, hallway or small bedroom. It will not fill an open-plan living room.

What does it smell like?

The fragrance is citronella, a sharp, lemony-green scent. Expect something closer to an outdoor candle than a fresh ocean breeze.

Do I need to flip the reeds?

Yes. Flip the fiber sticks every few days to refresh the scent, and replace them when they stop drawing oil.

Is it safe around pets and kids?

It is flameless and BPA free, but the oil is not for drinking and can damage finishes. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

When is the best time to buy it?

At $14.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it is already inexpensive. Watch for seasonal home-fragrance sales if you want it lower.

Our take on the Soul & Scents Ocean Scented Reed Diffuser Set

The Soul & Scents Ocean Reed Diffuser is a small glass bottle diffuser with six fiber reeds and a citronella fragrance. It is listed to last 35 to 60 days and to scent a space of about 10 square meters, so it suits a bathroom, hallway or desk rather than an open living room. The only new price found is $14.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, with no other store pricing it new, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Cons

Citronella is a polarizing scent; not a soft ocean-air fragrance for everyone

35 to 60 days is shorter than many reed diffusers
Fiber reeds can clog and stop drawing scent over time
