Is the PowerConf C200 worth it over a 1080p webcam?

If you want a visibly sharper picture on calls and streams, yes. The 2K resolution is the main reason to pay more than a basic 1080p model.

Does it work with a USB-A port?

The camera connects over USB-C. On a laptop with only USB-A, you will need a USB-C to USB-A adapter or cable.

What are the system requirements?

Windows 7 or later, or macOS 10.11 or later. It is plug-and-play, so no driver download is needed.

How good is it in low light?

The 2-megapixel sensor is fine in a well-lit room but can look noisy in dim light. A desk lamp or window light helps more than any setting.

Expect the webcam and a USB-C cable. Check the listing for any mount or adapter before you buy.

Webcams like this tend to dip during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Watch the price history rather than buying on impulse.

Our take on the Soundcore Anker PowerConf C200 2K Webcam

The Soundcore Anker PowerConf C200 is a USB-C webcam that shoots 2560 x 1440 (2K) video, aimed at people who want a sharper picture than a typical 1080p laptop camera. It is a compact, plug-and-play unit that works with Windows 7 or later and macOS 10.11 or later, with no driver install needed. Its 2-megapixel sensor and 2K output put it in the mid-range of webcams, above basic 1080p models but below 4K units. Anker backs it with an 18-month parts and labor warranty.
