What is the Spanx Ribbed Knit Scoop Neck Tank made of?

It is a blend of cotton, modal and linen, knitted in a rib pattern. The modal adds softness and drape, while the linen gives it a light, textured feel.

Does this tank run true to size?

It is offered in regular and plus sizes. Ribbed knits usually have stretch, so if you are between sizes, consider sizing down for a closer fit.

Can I machine wash it?

Yes. The care instructions say machine wash. Wash cold and lay flat or tumble low to limit shrinkage and wrinkling in the linen blend.

Is this a shaping tank?

No. It is a ribbed knit scoop neck tank, not one of Spanx's compression or shaping styles. It offers no built-in support or smoothing.

What colors does it come in?

Ivory, black, and a linen/classic black stripe. All are solid or striped, with no prints.

When is the best time to buy it?

Tanks usually see the deepest discounts at the end of summer and during seasonal clearance. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current price is near its low.
