Is the Spanx AirEssentials Half Zip worth it?

If you want a soft, stretchy layer for travel and mild weather, it earns its keep. It is priced like premium loungewear, so compare it with cheaper spacer-knit half-zips if budget matters.

How does it fit compared with Spanx leggings?

It is cut oversized with drop shoulders, so it sits looser than Spanx leggings. Shoppers between sizes often take the smaller one for a less baggy look.

What is the fabric and how should I wash it?

It is 47% Tencel modal, 46% polyester and 7% elastane. Wash cold and lay flat or tumble low to limit pilling and stretch loss.

Does it have pockets or a hood?

No. It has a half-zip collar, slit cuffs and no pockets or hood.

When is the best time to buy it?

Spanx runs seasonal sales and sitewide promotions, and colors get marked down when they are discontinued. Check the price history before buying at full price.
