Our take on the Spbtar Cordless Impact Wrench Kit High Torque Brushless 21V Impact Driver 4.0Ah Battery

The Spbtar Cordless Impact Wrench Kit is a 21V brushless impact wrench with a 1/2-inch drive, a 4.0Ah lithium-ion battery and a claimed 738 ft-lb of torque. That torque figure is high for a 21V class tool, and the 11.5 lb weight puts it in the heavy-duty bracket. It ships as a kit with battery and charger. No current price was provided for this page, so check the live comparison before buying.

Pros
  • 738 ft-lb claimed torque handles most lug nuts and rusty bolts
  • Brushless motor runs cooler and lasts longer than brushed
  • 4.0Ah battery gives useful runtime for a full wheel swap
  • 1/2-inch drive fits standard impact sockets
  • 2,510 RPM is fast for driving and removing nuts
  • Sold as a kit with battery and charger
Cons
  • 11.5 lb is heavy for overhead or one-handed work
  • 738 ft-lb is a claimed peak figure, not a tested one
  • Only 7 ratings, so the 4/5 score is thin evidence
  • Single battery in the kit means downtime on long jobs
  • Spbtar is a small brand, so parts and battery support are uncertain

Reception is limited: 4 out of 5 from 7 ratings, too few to draw firm conclusions. Buyers of this class of tool generally judge it on lug-nut removal and battery runtime.

Pros
  • Reported to remove lug nuts without a breaker bar
  • Battery holds charge through a wheel rotation
Cons
  • Heavier than expected in hand
  • Torque claims hard to verify without a test rig

Questions and answers

Is 738 ft-lb enough for car lug nuts?
Yes. Most passenger-car lug nuts need 80 to 150 ft-lb, and truck and trailer nuts usually need 300 to 500 ft-lb. 738 ft-lb of claimed peak torque covers both with margin, though real breakaway torque is usually lower than the peak spec.
How long does the 4.0Ah battery last?
Expect roughly a full set of wheels, four to five lug nuts each, on one charge. Heavy continuous use on rusty suspension bolts will drain it faster, so a spare battery helps.
What comes in the box?
The kit is listed with the wrench, one 4.0Ah 21V lithium-ion battery and a charger. Sockets are not listed, so plan on buying a 1/2-inch impact socket set separately.
Is it too heavy for regular use?
At 11.5 lb it is on the heavy side. It is fine for wheels and chassis work at ground level, but tiring for overhead or long one-handed sessions.
Does it use standard sockets?
Yes. The 1/2-inch square drive takes standard 1/2-inch impact sockets. Use impact-rated sockets, not chrome hand sockets, which can crack under this torque.
When is the best time to buy?
Cordless tool kits usually drop around Black Friday and Father's Day sales. Set a price alert and compare across stores, since small-brand kits vary widely in price.
