Is it worth it over a supermarket carpet spray?

It is a concentrated enzyme formula, so a little goes far and it doubles as a laundry pre-treatment. If you only need a quick freshen-up, a basic spray is cheaper.

Do I have to rinse it out?

No. For spot treatment, blot it in and let it dry. For machine-washable items, apply it as a pre-treatment, then wash as usual.

Will it work on old, set-in stains?

It works best on fresh spills. On older stains, apply, let it dwell longer, and repeat; some set-in marks will not come out fully.

Is it safe on wool and delicate rugs?

Test on a hidden area first. Enzyme cleaners are generally fine on wool and synthetics, but always check the rug's care label.

What's in the bottle?

A 32 oz bottle of plant-derived, enzyme-based cleaner scented with citrus and eucalyptus essential oils. It is a liquid spot treatment, not a machine shampoo.

Multi-packs and subscribe-and-save options usually bring the per-ounce price down. Compare the 32 oz price against smaller sizes before buying.

Our take on the Spot Cleaner & Stain Remover (32oz)

A 32 oz bottle of plant-derived, enzyme-based spot cleaner for rugs and other surfaces. It works two ways: dab it on as a no-rinse spot treatment, or apply it before machine washing for set-in stains. The formula targets food and wine spills, pet messes and dirt, and citrus and eucalyptus oils cut odors. It is sold at a mid price for a bottle this size, and the 32 oz format is the larger option in the line.
