Does it remove the smell or just cover it?

It is formulated to neutralize pet odor at the spot rather than mask it. For soaked padding or subfloor, surface spray alone may not reach the source.

Can I use it on wool or delicate carpet?

Test on an inconspicuous area first. Wool and natural fibers can react to cleaning agents, and the label directions should be followed for dwell time and blotting.

How much area does a 22 fl oz bottle cover?

Coverage depends on spot size. A few ounces per accident is typical, so expect roughly a dozen or more small spots per bottle.

Will it stop my pet from returning to the same spot?

Removing the residual odor helps, since pets often revisit spots that still smell. Deep accidents may need a second application or an enzyme product.

Is it safe around pets and kids once dry?

Follow the label and let the area dry fully before pets or children return. Keep the bottle out of reach and ventilate the room while spraying.

Our take on the STAINMASTER Carpet Pet Stain & Odor Remover Cleaner - 22 fl oz

STAINMASTER Pet Stain & Odor Remover is a spray cleaner in a 22 fl oz bottle made for pet accidents on carpet. It targets both the stain and the odor and leaves a dirt-repelling protection behind so treated spots resist new soiling. The formula is aimed at cat and dog owners dealing with urine, vomit and tracked-in messes. It is a spot-treatment product, not a whole-room carpet shampoo.
