Our take on the Stakmore Straight Edge Folding Card Table

The Stakmore Straight Edge Folding Card Table is a 32-inch square solid wood table in oak that folds flat to about 3.4 inches deep and opens to a standard 29.5-inch card-table height. It seats four, needs no assembly, and is built for indoor use only, with a stain-resistant but not weather-resistant top. At $131.99 at eBay as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what the seven stores listing it new charge, making this a good moment to buy if you want a wood table rather than a plastic one.

Pros
  • Solid wood top and frame, not molded plastic
  • Folds to 3.375 inches deep for closet or under-bed storage
  • No assembly required out of the box
  • Standard 29.5-inch height works with regular chairs
  • Stain-resistant finish handles spills better than bare wood
Cons
  • Indoor use only; not weather resistant
  • 68 kg (about 150 lb) weight capacity is modest for a wood table
  • 32-inch square seats four tightly, no room for a fifth
  • Solid wood makes it heavier to move than a resin table
  • Folding mechanism and legs add cost over basic plastic tables

Questions and answers

Is $131.99 a good price for this table?
It is the lowest of the seven stores listing it new as of November 3, 2026, so it is a strong price. Wood card tables from Stakmore usually sell for more than basic plastic ones, and this sits at the bottom of its current range.
Can I use it outdoors?
No. It is rated for indoor use only and is not weather resistant. The stain-resistant finish helps with spills but will not survive rain or prolonged sun.
How many people fit around it?
Four, at 32 inches square. That is standard for a card table, but four adults will be close together, and there is no room for a fifth player.
Does it need assembly?
No. It arrives assembled and folds open. The folded depth is about 3.4 inches, so it stores in a closet or under a bed.
What is the weight limit?
68 kg, or about 150 lb, spread across the top. That is fine for cards, snacks and elbows, but do not sit or stand on it.
How does it compare with a plastic folding table?
It costs more and weighs more, but the solid wood top and frame look better in a home and feel steadier. A plastic table is the better pick if you need something light or for outdoor use.
