Is the Stio Hometown Down Hooded Jacket warm enough for winter?

Yes. It is a heavyweight jacket with 100% down fill and a hood, so it is built for cold fall and winter days. It is likely too warm for mild weather.

Stio lists it as a relaxed fit, so it runs roomier than a trim puffer and layers over a sweater. It comes in regular, big and tall sizes.

No. The nylon shell is listed for rain, but down fill loses loft when soaked, so it is not a substitute for a rain shell in steady rain.
