Is the Stone Lain Cleo set worth it?

For a family that wants one box to serve 8 in sturdy stoneware, yes. If you want lightweight, uniform plates for formal dinners, porcelain costs more but weighs less.

Is it dishwasher and microwave safe?

The stoneware is microwave safe and dishwasher safe on a normal cycle. Hand washing the mugs and bowls keeps the matte glaze looking new longer.

Can it go in the oven?

The plates and bowls handle warm-holding in a low oven, but the set is not rated for broiler heat or stovetop use. Check the stamp on each piece before baking.

How does it compare with the Stone Lain Celina set?

Celina uses a glossy glaze and a slightly different rim shape; Cleo is matte and solid blue. Both are 32-piece stoneware services for 8, so choose on finish and color.

Eight dinner plates, eight salad plates, eight bowls and eight mugs, 32 pieces total. No serving platters or extra pieces are included.

When is the Cleo set cheapest?

Stoneware sets usually dip during back-to-school and Black Friday sales. Watch the price history here and buy when it falls below its recent average.

Our take on the Stone Lain Cleo 32-Piece Dinnerware Set Stoneware

The Stone Lain Cleo is a 32-piece stoneware dinnerware set that serves 8, with 8 dinner plates, 8 salad plates, 8 bowls and 8 mugs. It is solid blue stoneware with a matte reactive glaze, so each piece varies slightly in tone. Stoneware is heavier and more chip-resistant than porcelain, but it is not oven-safe for broiling and the mugs are bulky. It is a mid-priced set aimed at everyday family use rather than formal dining.
