Is this stool worth $40.99?

At $40.99 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a swivel stool with a high back and a 300 lb rating. Expect faux-leather and wood construction at that price, not premium materials.

Will it fit under a standard kitchen island?

The stool is 38.5 inches tall overall, so check your counter height first. It is a fixed-height stool, so the counter has to match it; you cannot raise or lower the seat.

Does the seat swivel and return to center?

The seat swivels. The listing does not state a memory return, so expect it to stay where you turn it.

What is the weight limit?

300 lb per stool. Each stool weighs 24 lb.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

No. It is intended for indoor residential use, and faux leather and wood will not hold up well to weather.
