Our take on the Stowe Solid Wood Round Coffee Table (36"–46")

The Stowe is a round coffee table in kiln-dried solid mango wood with a dark walnut finish, offered in 36-inch and 46-inch widths at a 15-inch height. It is contract grade, meaning it is built for heavy use, and it sits on adjustable levelers so it stays steady on uneven floors. Assembly is required, and the 41.6-pound weight keeps it movable but substantial. The 36-inch version is the compact choice for smaller seating areas; the 46-inch version anchors a large sectional.

Questions and answers

Is the Stowe coffee table solid wood or veneer?
It is solid kiln-dried mango wood throughout the top and body, with a dark walnut finish. Expect natural variation in grain and color from piece to piece.
Should I get the 36-inch or 46-inch size?
Choose 36 inches for apartments, loveseats and tight seating groups. Choose 46 inches for a large sectional or a room where the table needs to fill more floor space.
How hard is assembly?
Assembly is required, typically attaching the base to the top. The adjustable levelers are included, so you can fine-tune the table once it is upright.
Will it work on uneven floors?
Yes. The base has adjustable levelers, which let you correct wobble on tile, old hardwood or slightly sloped floors.
How do I care for the mango wood finish?
Dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth and use coasters under drinks. Keep it out of direct sun and away from radiators to limit drying and fading.
When is the best time to buy?
Furniture discounts cluster around major holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current price is near its low.
