Questions and answers

Is the STW-6041 worth it?
If you have a 5.25-inch bay and want direct knob control over four fans, it offers high power per channel and a clear display. Without a bay, you would need an adapter or a different controller.
Does it work with 4-pin PWM fans?
Yes, it accepts both 3-pin and 4-pin connectors. It controls fans by varying voltage from 5V to 12V, so PWM fans will run but not via their PWM signal.
What fans can each channel handle?
Each channel supports up to 30W. That is enough for most single fans, including high-power models.
Are temperature sensors included?
The listing does not mention included sensors. The LCD shows CPU and system temperatures, which likely come from motherboard headers or optional probes.
What is in the box?
The controller, four fan cables (600mm), and mounting screws are typical. Check the retailer's listing for the exact contents.
When is it cheapest?
We do not have current pricing or history for this model, so we cannot say when it goes on sale.
