Do I need a box spring with this bed?

No. The frame comes with slats, so a mattress can sit directly on them. A box spring would only raise the mattress height.

What mattress size fits it?

It takes a full, also called double, mattress. Standard full mattresses are 54 by 75 inches.

How much weight can it hold?

The frame is rated for up to 600 lb. That is generous for a full-size wood platform bed.

Is $191.99 a good price?

Only one store lists a new price as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Compare it with other solid wood full platform beds with a headboard before deciding.

Does it include the mattress?

No. The listing covers the bed frame, headboard and slats; the mattress is sold separately.

How much assembly is required?

Expect to assemble the frame, headboard and slats. Wood platform beds of this type usually take two people and about an hour or more.
